Treatment Type
Mother Nature doesn’t care if your wood is properly treated. But we do.
Everything about extreme natural environments–water, salt, organisms, wind, heat, cold, violent storms, floods–is a potential disaster to any wood-based structure or building. To counter these destructive forces, our own chemical scientists have developed proprietary, industry-leading treatments that are innovative, effective, and proven to stand the test of time.
DuraPine® CCA wood preservative is a solution of chromated copper arsenate, known as CCA. DuraPine CCA has been formulated to render wood useless as a food substance for termites and fungi while keeping the wood clean, odorless, non-staining, and safe to handle when used as recommended.
In accordance with the label on DuraPine CCA preservative, this product may be produced for AWPA-approved uses as referenced in standards UC5A, 5B, 5C - Lumber and Timber (for salt water use), Piles, Wood for Marine Construction.
